Widgets serve as customisable elements on the discover streams, allowing you to personalise homepages for your people. They are interactive tiles embedded within the discovery stream and designed to showcase different types of content in various formats, enhancing the user experience.

All widgets are created and managed within Control > Behaviour > Stream.

Best practices for widget use

  • Variety and engagement: Mixing different types of widgets can keep the Discovery stream fresh and engaging. It prevents content from becoming monotonous and maintains user interest.

  • Strategic placement: Consider the placement and order of widgets. Prioritise important or timely content at the top or in prominent positions.

  • Regular updates: Keep the content within widgets updated to ensure relevancy and to encourage repeated user visits.
