Updated over a week ago

A couple of weeks ago, we introduced the new progression graph and the table in the Progression Beta page. We were very happy to see the positive reactions on how this page brings value to you. There were of course some improvement points as well.

In this release, we focused on refining the reporting page based on your feedback. Here’s what we’ve improved:

πŸš₯ Enhanced data pop-ups:

We have improved the readability of data details shown on hover. These pop-ups now feature doughnut charts and data labels, providing a clear overview of progress and activity counts. The visuals are colour-coded based on progress, making it easier to understand at a glance.

πŸ”’ Number formatting:

Switched to using abbreviations (e.g., 5k) for large numbers instead of lengthy digits, making the data more concise and user-friendly. You can still view the exact number if you hover on a specific point in the graph.

πŸ”¨ Filter management:

Added a functionality to remove selected presets, allowing for more flexibility in customising your data view.

πŸ”½ Collapsible presets:

Presets can now be collapsed after expansion. This helps in keeping the interface clean and manageable, especially when working with multiple presets.

πŸ“† Prefilled filters:

Automatically prefill the completion date filter with "last year," making it clearer what data range is being displayed by default and ensuring that you have immediate access to relevant data.

What's upcoming?

  • πŸ”„ Extended reporting for Journeys and Programmes: We're expanding our reporting capabilities to include detailed insights into Journeys and Programmes.

  • πŸ“… Scheduled reports: Soon, you'll be able to automate the dispatch of reports to stakeholders, ensuring they stay informed on key progress metrics without manual intervention.

  • πŸ“Š Graph and table view for admins with restricted permissions: Currently, admins with restricted permissions can't access new graph and table features. We're working to make these visualisations available to them, allowing view permissions for their specific groups.

πŸŒ„ Sunsetting the legacy Progression Page

The old Progression Page will no longer be available from August 14th, 2024. Make sure to transition to the new Progression Export page to take full advantage of our latest progression reports.

πŸ“ž Contact Customer Service if you need any help in transitioning to the new progression reports page in Control.
