πŸŽ‰ What's new in this release?

  • 🎭 Simplified user roles: Transitioning to role-based access to streamline management.

  • πŸ”§ Enhanced admin mode: New features for easier navigation and functionality.

  • 🎬 Interactive video updates: Addition of neutral feedback options for a more engaging learner experience.

  • πŸ“… Visibility of contract end date: Increased accessibility and automation capabilities.

  • 🌐 Expanded API options: Enhanced flexibility and precision for custom integrations.

🎭 Simplified User Roles

We’ve replaced specific permissions with comprehensive user roles, making it easier for you to manage access and responsibilities across the platform:

  • Creator: Access to either the Content Builder or Control Studio, depending on your platform’s settings, simplifying the content creation process.

  • Manager: Assigned to oversee users within selected groups, Managers ensure that the right people are progressing correctly and have the support they need. They also receive the notifications targeting the direct manager of users.

  • Reporting Manager: Crucial for those who need to track and analyse the progress of users. Reporting Managers have access to in-app reports on the progress of their people.

  • Timeline Contributor: Members with this role can engage actively by posting and commenting on the group’s Timeline, encouraging a dynamic exchange of ideas and feedback.

  • Timeline Manager: Responsible for overseeing the Timeline, this role manages posts and comments, ensuring that discussions are productive.

  • Trainer: Trainers can add, edit and delete events in Sessions, allowing them to manage the synchronised on/offline moments with your people.

πŸ”§ Enhanced admin mode

Improvements in the admin mode now include user-friendly help texts and a new direct-access button in the featured activities and journeys widgets. This addition eliminates unnecessary navigation and streamlines the process of adding new content, saving valuable time and effort.

🎬 Interactive Video Updates

Our interactive video capabilities now include a branching option with neutral feedback. This update allows you to create videos where learners make choices that aren't right or wrong but lead to different paths or continue the narrative, making learning more dynamic and less prescriptive.

πŸ“… Contract end date

Visibility of the contract end date has been improved across user profiles and automation settings. You can now easily set up automations based on the contract end dates to manage user access and compliance seamlessly, reducing dependency on HR tools for these functions.

🌐 Expanded API Options

We've enhanced our TinQwise APIs to give you more control and flexibility in how you manage and report on user data:

  • Reporting API: Now includes filters for email, UUID, and employee ID, allowing you to easily track individual progress and tailor your reporting to meet specific needs.

  • User API: Updated to include timeline permissions, enabling automatic adjustments to user statuses directly through the API.
