To truly harness the global potential of your learning Platform, Studio's offers multiple methods for translating your content.
Manual translations
AI-powered auto translations
Exporting and importing PO files
1. Manual translations
You can easily view or edit an activity in another language using the language picker in the bottom-right corner. This lets you switch between the languages available on your platform.
Any text changes you make here will apply only to that language version. This means you can tailor the tone of the content for the each audience.
Don't forget to save and publish after editing or translating content!
💡 Tip: Avoid making structural changes (like adding new templates or extra answer options) in non-default languages. These changes affect all languages, so it’s best to make them in your default version first.
2. AI-powered auto translations
Need a quick way to translate your activity? You can use our built-in DeepL integration to automatically translate your content with just a few clicks.
⚠️ Auto translations are part of the international add-on. Don’t see the option? Reach out to your TinQwise contact.
Steps to follow:
Navigate to Control > Activities.
Find the activity you want to translate and open it
Click the translation button in the bottom-right corner.
Select "Start AI-translation".
Choose your source and target language
And voilà!
Data Privacy Assurance
Only the text you’re translating is sent to DeepL, none of your other data goes with it.

🎯 Pro tip: AI is fast but it is not perfect. Machines may not fully understand context or culture, so it's best to get a native speaker or professional translator to check for accuracy.
This helps maintain the quality of your learning materials and ensures they connect well with your audience.

Translations are copies of the original content. If you update the default version later, those updates won’t automatically appear in the translated versions.
Always save and publish your changes, even in translations, to make sure they’re live on the platform.
