You can manually translate any Studio activity by switching to another language and editing the text directly. This is helpful if you want more control over the tone, voice, or cultural fit of your learning content.
🌍 How to switch languages
Open your activity in Studio.
Go to the bottom-right corner and click the language picker.
Select the language you want to translate into.
Good to know 💡
The available languages come from the list set in your platform settings!
✏️ Editing content in another language
Once you've selected a language, you can start editing:
Any text you change will only apply to the selected language.
The structure of the activity stays the same (e.g., same number of slides or questions).
You can adapt tone, terminology, or examples for that language’s audience.
Important 🔥
After translating your content, click Save, then click Publish to make it live in that language!
Final things to keep in mind
Only translate, not restructure: Don’t add new templates or change question formats while working in a non-default language. This can affect all versions.
Start in your default language: Structural changes (like adding a new block) should always be done in the original version first.
Each language is a version: Translations are copies of the original content. Updates to the default version won’t automatically carry over.
