📁 Supported asset types
You can upload a variety of file types for use across the platform. Each type has its own size limits and formatting guidelines.
Images: PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF
Documents: PDF
Audio: MP3, M4A
Video: MP4 (H.264), MOV
SCORM packages
Max file sizes:
Images, PDFs, and audio: 1 GB
GIFs: 5 MB (preferably smaller)
Videos (MP4 with H.264): Max 2 GB
Video uploaded as asset: Max 2 GB
SCORM files: Cannot exceed 2 GB
Video requirements:
Always use landscape format

🔥 Important
If the file meets all requirements but hasn’t uploaded after 5 minutes and no error appears, it’s likely due to a poor internet connection. Try refreshing the page or reconnecting before uploading again.
🖼 How images are used
Images behave differently depending on where and how they are used in the platform.
Some images are reused:
One uploaded image can appear in multiple places. For example, an activity cover may show up in the 'Spotlighted activity', to-do list, search results, and within a journey.
Other images adapt to devices:
Some images are used only once but may look different depending on your device. This is called responsive behaviour: images are scaled or cropped to fit various screen sizes.
Sometimes both apply:
Some images are reused in multiple places and behave responsively.
Image dimensions and recommendations
Try to keep images under 1 GB and compress them when possible to speed up loading times.
