Your platform's visual styling can reflect your organisation’s brand and culture. From colours to fonts and themes, customising the look and feel helps build recognition, boost engagement, and create a sense of belonging.
🛠 Where to customise your theme
To update your platform's visual design:
Go to Settings > Themes
Use the panels to configure colours, fonts, themes, and font colours
Click Preview theme to check your changes

🟣 Primary colour
The primary colour is used throughout the platform for:
Active items in navigation and profiles
Labels, icons, and buttons on activities
Journey banners and progress bars
Background and buttons in your social timeline
💡 Tip:
Choose a colour that contrasts well with white text!
💛 Secondary colour
The secondary colour is used as an accent in:
⚫ Base colours
You can adjust the platform’s standard colours:
Black, white, grey: used for backgrounds and text
Red, green, yellow, orange – used for statuses and gamification labels

If your primary colour is a red or green shade, tick the Growing interaction box so the platform uses neutral feedback colours instead.
Rounded corners
You can customise the appearance of tiles and buttons across your platform to better match your brand style.
By default, corners are rounded, but you can switch to squared corners if you prefer a sharper, more modern look.
To update corner style:
Go to Settings > Themes
Scroll down to the Rounded corners section
Choose between Rounded or Squared for:
Tiles
Buttons
Changes apply instantly across the platform.

You can customise both the fonts and font colours used across your platform to match your brand.

Platform background pattern
The platform background pattern is used to add some playfulness to the platform styling. Used in Upskill, the Timeline, the user profile, the accordion template and the swipe series template.
Examples of places the platform background pattern will show:
