We are in the new summer month and have a freshly brewed release! Let's have a look:

  • πŸ”Ž Control toolbar has new tricks: Activate admin mode and explore the Control environment effortlessly - now available for upskill and user sections!

  • πŸ’Ύ Upload file template can be optional: It is now possible to make uploading a file optional.

  • 🎯 Improved progress update: Craft a more comprehensive progress update with highly precise calculations.

  • πŸ“ƒ Rich text HTML editor: Style your e-mails with HTML as you wish.

πŸ”Ž Control toolbar

We've supercharged our popular control toolbar with even more functionality based on your feedback.

Remember that feeling of trying to find a specific function within a labyrinth of options? Those days are over. The enhanced Control Toolbar allows you to navigate to the relevant Control page smoothly. Once you activate the toolbar, your screen is adorned with a helpful blue frame. Within this frame, platform controls are just a hover away. It's as intuitive as it gets!

Just hover over any Upskill activity to reveal two dots in the upper right corner, your golden ticket to the respective Control page.

The same magic has been extended to the manager reporting page. A simple click on the little menu icon next to the user name will transport you to their user page. This upgrade reduces time spent on navigation, so you can focus on what's essential - managing and enhancing user experiences.

Can you think of any other shortcuts that would fasten the platform management?

Let us know on the product portal.

πŸ’Ύ Upload file template

Previously, when using the upload file template, it was not possible to make the uploading optional, even though there was a checkbox. Learners always had to upload a file to be able to progress in the activity.

Now, you can make file upload for an activity optional by simply checking the β€œoptional” checkbox. By default, file uploads remain mandatory.

🎯 Refined progress reports

We've added a new layer of precision to our progress reports. Instead of the old "all-or-nothing" status, progress is now presented in a much more detailed and nuanced way.

Before our upgrade, the progress was presented as 0% or 100%. From now on, you can see more detailed progress reports on your platform. We calculate progress more accurately.

This means you'll have a clearer, more accurate picture of how far your users have come, and how much further they have to go for each content.

Remember that this change will only impact future activity progress, as we don't collect historical data.

πŸ“ƒ Rich text HTML editor

Remember when we said goodbye to the HTML editor and welcomed the rich text editor with open arms? Well, we've realized that, for some tech-savvy aficionados, the rich text editor felt like eating soup with a fork. So, we've brought back the HTML option as an add-on to the rich text editor.

When you click on the HTML button (</>) next to the Variables in the rich text editor, you'll unlock an HTML wonderland, where you can style your text or add hyperlinks to images to your heart's content.
