When creating a Session in Studio, you have the option to include an evaluation at the end of the session.

This article is part of the Sessions guide.

How to add the evaluation

When creating or editing a Session in Studio, you’ll see the option to “Add Evaluation” on the right-hand side of the screen

Simply click the + Add Evaluation panel to include a feedback form for your learners.

📋 What does the evaluation include?

By default, the evaluation consists of two types of questions:

  1. Rating question (scale 1–5)
Learners are asked to rate the overall effectiveness of the session.

  2. Open-ended question
Learners can share specific feedback on what they found most valuable, and how they plan to apply what they learned.

✏️ Customising the evaluation

Both questions can be fully customised in Studio to suit the goals of your session. You can:

  • Change the wording of the questions

  • Tailor them to focus on specific skills or session outcomes

⏱ When does the evaluation appear?

  • The evaluation becomes available to learners after they’ve attended all events in their registered section. If included, the session tile will show "Evaluation needed" until the learner completes the evaluation.

  • Once completed, the session activity is marked as complete.

📊 Check evaluation results as an admin or trainer

Once learners have completed a session and filled in the evaluation, you can view their feedback directly from the session overview.

To check evaluation results:

  1. Go to the Session in Studio or Control.

  2. Click on “Show feedback” (this button appears only if an evaluation was added).

  3. You'll see:

    • 📈 A graph with average ratings (if scale questions were used).

    • 💬 Individual responses to open-ended questions.

    • 👥 A list of all learners who completed the session and submitted feedback.

Use this data to reflect on session effectiveness, improve future events, and gather insights on learner experience.
