Adding Context for the Studio agent

Written by Marie Xhauflair

The Studio Agent uses context to generate output that sounds and feels like your brand. The more relevant context it has, the better its suggestions will be.

This article explains the five context layers available, and how each one works.

🗂️ Overview of context layers

Studio uses five layers of context to inform its suggestions.

#

Layer

How it's applied

1

Platform level

Always active

2

Webshop

Always active

3

Activity (via document upload)

Background instruction or content

4

Neighbouring activities within a programme/journey

On demand

5

Assets

On demand

⚙️ Layer 1: Platform-level context

Platform-level context applies across your entire platform and is automatically used by the Studio Agent on every request.

For example:

The best place to add your company mission, writing tone, and brand-specific terms!

✏️ Tip

Think of this as your brand briefing. Add your tone of voice, any terminology you always or never want to use, and anything that should apply to all content across the platform.

🛍️ Layer 2: Webshop

If you connect your webshop to your platform, the Studio Agent can use up-to-date product information when designing and creating content. This makes the output more reliable and accurate.

Tip:

To connect your webshop to the platform, contact marie.xhauflair@tinqwise.com to get set up!

It's free and makes a real difference to content quality.

📄 Layer 3: Document upload within an activity

While working on an activity in Studio, you can upload a PDF directly inside the agent. It will read the document and use it as a reference when suggesting modifications and additions to your content.

For example:

This is useful for any source material that is relevant to that specific activity, such as a product spec, a training brief, or an existing script.

🔗 Layer 4: Neighbouring activities in a programme

When an activity sits within a programme, you can ask the Studio Agent to reference other activities in the same programme.

This is useful for keeping tone, terminology, and structure consistent across a full learning journey.

For example:

"Use the other activities in this programme to keep the tone consistent."

👀 Good to know

This layer is on demand. The agent will only use it if you ask for it in your prompt.

🖼️ Layer 5: Assets

The agent can also reference documents stored in your assets library. Like neighbouring activities, this is fetched on demand.

For example:

"Look for the onboarding script in assets and use it as a reference."

👀 Good to know

This layer is on demand. The agent will only use it if you ask for it in your prompt.

Final words

The more layers you use, the more the Studio Agent's output will reflect your brand, your products, and your learners' context.
