Adding platform context for the TinQwise Studio Agent

Written by Marie Xhauflair

The TinQwise Studio Agent is built to create content that fits your brand. General platform context is thus a crucial point of that.

When you add platform context, the Studio Agent applies those instructions to every request, automatically. No need to repeat your brand rules each time. Whether it's a tone of voice guideline, a term that should never change, or a product name that needs to stay consistent, you define it once and the Studio Agent follows it every time.

What you can use it for

Platform context works best for instructions that apply across all your content. Here are some practical examples:

  • Brand terminology: Lock in the exact words your brand uses. If your company calls it a "learning journey" rather than a "course", or "colleagues" rather than "employees", tell Studio Agent that here.

  • Tone of voice: Describe how your brand communicates. Is it formal and straight to the point, or warm and conversational? Add a few guiding sentences and Studio Agent will match that register.

  • Language difficulty: Do you want to the Studio Agent to propose B2 level language or C1? You can specify this and the Studio Agent will product content at the correct level.

  • Words to avoid If there are terms that clash with your brand or have specific meaning in your organisation, list them as off-limits.

  • Background information Give the Studio Agent the context it needs to understand your environment. For example, you might want to add:

"This platform is used by store staff and team leaders in a retail environment. Content should be practical and directly applicable to day-to-day work on the shop floor. Avoid corporate jargon."

✏️ Tip

Think of platform context as your brand briefing for the Studio Agent. The more specific you are, the more consistent your output will be. You do not need to repeat these instructions in your individual prompts.

How to add platform context

  1. Go to Settings > General

  2. Scroll down to Context for the Studio Agent

  3. Upload your platform-level context in a PDF document

  4. Click Save

That's it. The Studio Agent will apply these instructions from your next request onwards.

Tips for writing effective platform context

Keep it clear and direct. The Studio Agent reads your context as instructions, so write it the way you would brief a new colleague.

A few things that work well:

  • Be specific about terminology. Instead of "use our brand voice", write "always refer to participants as learners, never as students or users."

  • Give examples where possible. If you have a preferred sentence style or a format that works well for your audience, include a short example.

  • Keep it focused. Platform context is for recurring, platform-wide rules. Content-specific instructions belong in your individual prompts.

Before you start

The Studio Agent (free) needs to be enabled on your platform before you can use this feature.
