๐Ÿ We're buzzing with excitement as we roll out a leading change in Studio: Visual editor. This is a cornerstone feature that sparked the very creation of Studio and a feature that's set to transform how you interact with content editing at its core. Are you curious to find out more?

Letโ€™s get into the details of whatโ€™s new and improved!

  1. ๐Ÿ“ Visual editor in Studio: Our biggest leap yet in editing, integrating direct on-screen editing, offering a more intuitive experience for crafting your content.

  2. ๐Ÿ” Second menu in Control: A new shortcut to essential tools and resources, enhancing your admin navigation experience.

  3. ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ Journey cover image settings: Update and preview journey images effortlessly, ensuring visual consistency across different platform displays.

๐Ÿ“ Visual editor in Studio

The introduction of the visual editor marks a pivotal shift in how content is edited in Studio. In the past, editing content involved using forms located on the left menu, often resulting in lengthy and somewhat cumbersome processes.

Now, you can edit text directly on screen, bringing a more natural and intuitive feel to the editing process. This change significantly reduces the need for nasty forms, allowing for a smoother, more integrated workflow. Most elements (e.g., accordion sections, new questions, or answer options) can be added directly on the screen, streamlining the entire content creation process.

For template-specific settings, such as when using a background image, the forms still play a role. Settings like hiding image overlays or choosing text colours for better visibility against the background are adjusted through these forms. This ensures that while the bulk of the content creation is now more direct and fluid, the nuanced control over specific elements remains precise and customisable.

For those still on the sidelines, now's the perfect moment to immerse yourself in the Studio revolution! ๐ŸŽ‰ Fill out the survey to become a part of the Studio expedition.

๐Ÿ” Second menu in Control

We've added a second menu in Control for easier navigation. Located on your profile image, this menu provides quick access to key resources like the service desk, release notes, status page, and product portal. It's about making your workflow smoother and more efficient, ensuring the tools you need are always within reach.

๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ Journey cover image settings

Visual appeal is crucial, and updating journey images should be straightforward. Our new drag-and-drop feature lets you easily refresh your journeyโ€™s look.

Immediately see how your new images will display in both the Discovery Stream and smaller tiles like in search results, upskilling modules, and to-do lists.

This update is all about ensuring that your content not only captures attention but also fits perfectly in every context on the platform.
