Since the release of Studio in its Beta version on our last release, we've received very good feedback from the early users. From now on, we'll kick off our updates by spotlighting the latest advancements in Studio.

For those who haven't dipped their toes into this experience, here's your gateway to be part of the Studio Beta experience 🌟

  • Studio updates:

    • Task format in Studio

    • New learning bite templates

  • Other improvements:

    • 🌐 Language picker in Intro: Ensuring you're always greeted in a language that feels like home.

    • 🎩 Magic Wall variables: Add personalised touches with variables like "user name".

    • πŸ” Automation visibility for groups: A more transparent lens to view all your group-based automations in Control.

    • πŸ›  Quick widget automation creation: Building and automating widgets is now quick and seamless.

    • πŸ”¦ Improved widget visibility: Selected widgets are now highlighted for ease of tracking.

Studio updates:

🎨 Task format in Studio:

Following the learning bite, the Task format is also added in Studio. You can now start creating Tasks in Studio to help learners practice new skills.

πŸ“š Learning bites templates:

With the addition of three templates centred on hotspots, your Studio content is set to become more interactive.

  • Hotspot slider

  • Hotspot visible

  • Hotspot blind

Keep an eye out; the upcoming 'interactive video' template is under development. 😊

General improvements:

🌐 Language picker in Intro:

Recognising the occasional bypass of the language picker at login, we've introduced a similar picker in the Intro. This ensures that your journey with us remains smooth, relatable, and devoid of any linguistic barriers.

🎩 Magic Wall variables:

We recently introduced the rich text editor in Magic Walls which allow you to format the text in bold and italic or add hyperlinks.

Enhancing the recent magic wall widget advancements, users can now increase the personalisation with variables like "user name" or "buddy name" (if you're using the buddy feature).

It's a step towards making each interaction feel a tad more personal and connected. To explore the Magic Wall widgets, visit our help article.

πŸ” Automation visibility: Group automations:

In our quest for simplification, we've added an "Automations" tab to Groups. This hub lets you peek into both the overt and covert automations tied to any group, offering a more comprehensive oversight.

πŸ›  Quick widget automation creation:

To further support your workflow, post crafting a widget, tap the newly introduced plus icon. This addition allows for a streamlined setup of the automation linked to that widget.

With the primary unlock action prefilled, you’re just a couple of clicks away from setting it the automation active.

πŸ”¦ Improved widget visibility in Control

We understand that extensive widget lists can be overwhelming. To ease the stream management, the widget you select will now be highlighted, making it a easier to track and manage.
