Our latest release is all about making communication more efficient and seamless. With two exciting improvements, you'll be able to stay connected like never before:

  1. Say goodbye to guesswork - the module duration is now displayed in all formats, so you can plan accordingly.

  2. No more missed messages - buddy pairing messages will now be sent as both in-app notifications and emails, ensuring that learners & their buddies stay in the loop at all times.

1. Module durations ⏱️

The flexibility of the LXP allows learners to take control of their learning journey and fit it into their busy schedules. The ability to learn anywhere, anytime is a game-changer in the world of learning and development.

With the new update, learners can now have an even better experience by knowing exactly how long each module will take to complete. This feature is available for all module formats, including download format and direct video format.

While the duration may not always be top of mind for learners, it provides valuable insights for administrators to evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives. Accurate data leads to more informed decisions, and the new feature of customizable module durations will provide just that. Say goodbye to surprises and hello to efficient, motivated learning.

More on reporting the time spent on learning:

2. Buddy emails πŸ‘―

In addition to in-app notifications, managers can now send messages to their new hires and buddy matches also through email. This new feature ensures that all important messages are received loud and clear even when the new buddy-new hire pairs are not actively logged into the LXP.

What's this Buddy feature for? πŸ€”

Buddy systems can be incredibly beneficial for both experienced and new employees. A buddy can provide support, guidance, and a sounding board for ideas, helping the new employee feel confident and comfortable in their new role.

Here are three scenarios where the buddy-newbie pairing can make a big impact:

  1. Onboarding: The buddy becomes the new employee's tour guide as they navigate their first few weeks on the job. They introduce the newbie to the team, take them on a tour of the facilities, and make sure they feel like a pro in no time!

  2. Skill training: The buddy becomes the new employee's mentor, sharing their expertise and helping them pick up new skills faster than a speeding bullet. The newbie is ready to take on the world in no time!

  3. Networking & collaboration: The buddy takes the new employee under their wing, helping them connect with their colleagues and form strong working relationships. By working together on projects and getting to know each other, they make sure the newbie feels like they're part of the crew in no time!
