The year has started off strong and we are excited to continue the momentum with more improvements on LXP. This release comes packed with new features and improvements that will help streamline your training process and navigation like never before.

In this release, we have:

πŸ”₯ Navigate with confidence: new & improved navigation experience

The updated navigation allows for a more intuitive and user-friendly experience. This can make it easier for users to find the features and information they need, increasing productivity and reducing frustration. The new navigation layout is designed to be more logical and straightforward, making it easier for users to get the most out of the software.

Are you curious about what has changed?

⭐ Revamped impersonation: slicker and more user-friendly

This improvement one is for the admins only. The impersonation banner is redesigned which is now located at the bottom of the screen. The banner is less obtrusive and is designed to be less distracting for users. The text can also be minimized into an icon, providing a clear indication of the impersonation status while taking up less space on the screen.

✨ Track and organise: formal & informal learning

Admins can now label content as 'formal' or 'informal' learning. Learners won't see the difference, but it allows admins to make detailed audience exports. E.g.: How much time did learner A spend on formal training?

Not sure how to label your content? Use this cheat sheet:

Formal training

Informal training

Planned

Unplanned

Learner-led

Goal-oriented

No set goals

Mainly individual

Mainly social

Assessed

Non-assessed

Note that formal training is not 'mandatory' or 'core' content by definition. These are separate settings, but can be combined if needed.

⏱️ Export and analyse employee training time data with ease

The improved export functionality for user training time data allows for a more detailed analysis of user training progress. The added API endpoints also make it easier to integrate this information with other systems, such as HR or performance management software. Techies can find more info on the API endpoints here.

Check out the article for details.

Bonus: In addition to exporting total training time, the option to export the formal/informal training time breakdown (if enabled) can provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of different types of training.

πŸ’ͺ Bulk Up your automation game

Last month, we introduced the bulk deletion of the automations. This feature received a lot of good reactions. This month, we improved this feature. It is now possible to enable and disable automations in bulk.

The ability to enable/disable automations in bulk provides a more efficient way to manage and maintain many automations. This feature allows users to quickly and easily make changes to multiple automations simultaneously, saving time and effort. This is particularly useful for users who frequently need to update, test or change their automations.
