What do product release notes and Christmas have in common? π
They both come with updates and surprises!
In this release, we have:
Disabling the social presence per programme
Sessions improvements
Evaluation reminder
Event update notification
Option to (un)register learners
Option to disable the social presence in programmes π©π¨
In the last sprint, we introduced the social presence in programmes (aka the floating heads). In this release, we added a sparkle of flexibility to this feature. It is now possible to enable or disable the floating heads per program. For example, you can enable the social presence feature for the Onboarding program, so the onboarders feel more connected to each other while disabling it for the Compliance program.
Session improvements:
Evaluation reminderβ°
"You just finished a webinar with 50 participants. The presentation went well, and received a great response from the audience. At the end of the session, you remind the attendees to complete the evaluation to help improve your webinar further. Yet, three days later, you noticed that only three participants had filled out the evaluation. Others were frustrated because the session still needed to be completed even though they had attended it.
Does this feel familiar to you? We got your back! From now on, if a user still needs to fill out the evaluation form, receive an (email) notification reminder two days after the last event was held.
Sessions: Event updates (email) notification π
It is important to keep your users informed of any changes to event details. Previously, attendees were only notified of these changes through LXP, which may not have been sufficient for all attendees. However, trainers now have the option to send an email notification to all attendees, in addition to the LXP notification, when updating the event series details such as changing the date, time, location, adding a new event, or removing an event. This email can also include an optional comment from the trainer.
Better notifications to the attendee, less effort for the trainer.
Tip: You can edit the default notification and email texts via xxx.platform.co.nl/control/#/content/translatables
Trainers can (un)register attendees to event series β¨
Giving more autonomy to the trainers can improve the efficiency and flexibility of event management. By allowing trainers to register and unregister attendees to event series, they can have greater control over the organization and participation in their events. This can also make it easier for trainers to accurately track and manage the attendance of their events. Overall, empowering trainers with the ability to manage event registration can help streamline the event planning process and improve the user experience for attendees.
This is also possible to apply retroactively which will make the trainer's job so much easier for when an attendee forgot to sign up for the event in LXP but still participated in it.
