How to send a confirmation email after a user registered

A simple confirmation email after registering to the TinQwise learning platform might be extremely helpful in boosting user engagement from the very first day.

How to set up a registration confirmation email automation?

  1. Navigate to Behaviour > Automations in TinQwise Control.

  2. Click on the Create automation button.

  3. Name your automation, and choose the type of event as User is registered. Click Create.

  4. As condition, choose Unconditional. This will allow the automation to be applied for all your platform users.

  5. As action choose Notify user.

    • Enter a title and a message of the in-app notification.

    • TIP: You can use variable fields to personalise the message, such as {{event.user}} to include the name of the recipient. Press View variables to see which variables are available.

    • Check the send_email box. An input field will appear where you can enter your email text. You can format this message by using HTML code.

    • Choose an email template, usually Notification (Global)

    • Choose the recipients. In this case, the recipient is user since the condition includes all users.

    • Under User source, choose event > user; this will allow all users (who meet the condition) to receive the email.

  6. Click Save and you're done setting up your notification!
