The Audio format is a single-screen activity where learners must listen to an audio file to finish the session. It's great for podcasts or voice-led instructions.

πŸ“Œ Why use it?

Use this format to:

  • Deliver meditations, music, or voice recordings

  • Guide learners through an audio-based experience

  • Let learners listen without needing to interact with text

  • Support different learning styles (especially audio learners)

πŸ› οΈ To create an audio activity

  1. Go to Studio and create a new activity

  2. Select the Audio format

  3. Add a title, intro text, and upload an image

    1. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF

    2. Image appears in the activity and on the tile

  4. Choose your audio source from the dropdown:

    1. Audio upload: Upload an MP3 file

    2. Audio URL: Paste a direct link to an audio file

    3. Audio embed: Paste an embed code (Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music)

  5. Optional settings:

    1. Hide the image overlay: Removes the dark gradient over the image

How to embed an audio player?

Spotify example

  1. In Spotify app, go to the artist profile, album, song, playlist, or podcast you want to share and click the 3 dots next to it.

  2. Select Share

  3. Click on Embed. You will see a code in the pop-up.

  4. Copy the code

  5. Paste it in the content builder.

The code should look like this:

<iframe style="border-radius:12px"src="https://open.spotify.com/embed/episode/1oCdcCQ74SVx0Te4efH0n3?utm_source=generator" width="100%" height="352" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" allow="autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture" loading="lazy"></iframe>

Now the audio file is ready! Don't forget to Save the format and to click on "Push to TinQwise learning platform" in the content builder.

Same steps can be applied to other media streaming services such as SoundCloud or Apple Music.
