The Social challenge with feedback format helps learners practice real-world skills by uploading work, reflecting on their experience, and exchanging peer feedback. It includes four key phases: Prepare, Share, Reflect, and Grow.
Learners engage by uploading an exercise, reflecting through a short survey, and giving/receiving feedback from peers. This encourages mutual growth and insight through observation and support.

🔄 Format overview
Each activity follows four steps:
Prepare: Introduce the challenge and what learners should expect
Share: Learners upload their work
Reflect: Learners answer a short self-reflection survey
Grow: Learners request and receive feedback from peers
🧭 Prepare: Introduce the challenge
This section sets the stage. Use it to briefly explain the purpose and theme of the challenge.
Example:
“You’ve completed the product knowledge training for our new skincare line. Now it’s time to put that into practice: create a short pitch you’d use with a customer. Focus on matching the product to customer needs.”
📋 Reflect: Learners self-assess their experience
This step encourages learners to think critically about their approach and identify areas to improve.
Example reflection questions:
“On a scale of 1 to 5, how confident are you in recommending this product to different customer types?”
“What would you do differently next time to improve your pitch?”
These help learners internalize what they’ve done well and what could be stronger.
🤝 Grow: Learners give and receive peer feedback
In this step, learners select a colleague to review their submission and offer feedback.
Example instructions for learners:
“Choose one team member to review your sales pitch. You’ll also be asked to review theirs. Focus on tone, product knowledge, and how convincing the pitch is.”
💡 Tip:
Make it a team moment by encouraging learners to discuss feedback during a shift or huddle.
🧑⚖️ How reviewers are selected
Reviewers must:
Have the same profile language
Be part of a group with the same group type (e.g. same store or sales team)
Determining the group type so select reviewers can be done in Control: Activity settings > Social question results
Have logged into the platform since the activity was created
🔥 Important:
If a reviewer is removed, the request link will no longer work.
📬 Feedback process
Reviewers get a notification and an email
They click View activity, review the submission, and submit feedback
The learner is notified once feedback is in
🎉 End and waiting screens
You will see two screens, both which seem like end screens... But don't be fooled! One if a waiting screen and the other is the end screen.
Customize both screens with a quick message and image.
Example “waiting” screen text:
“Thanks for sharing! You’ll be notified once your pitch has been reviewed.
Example end screen text:
“Great work! You’ve completed this challenge and received feedback to grow your skills.”
