As part of standard IT security practice, TinQwise updates certificates for the platform on an annual basis. If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO) via SAML, you may need to refresh the TinQwise metadata in your Identity Provider (IdP) so it continues to trust TinQwise.
Example (2025 β 2026 certificate update)
For example, the old certificate is valid until 27 December 2025, and the new certificate will be valid through 28 December 2026.
If you use SSO, your IdP administrator should update the TinQwise metadata so the new certificate is trusted.
TinQwise metadata URL
TinQwise SAML metadata is available at:
https://<your-platform-domain>.platform.co.nl/saml2/metadata/
Replace <your-platform-domain> with your platform name.
How to update TinQwise metadata in your Identity Provider (IdP)
Your IdP administrator can follow the standard process for SAML applications:
Open the TinQwise metadata URL (above).
In your IdP (for example Entra ID/Azure AD, Okta, ADFS), open the TinQwise SAML application.
Update the application by re-importing or replacing the Service Provider metadata using the latest TinQwise metadata XML.
Save changes.
Test SSO in an incognito/private browser window.
Optional check in the browser (website certificate only)
You may also see a certificate by opening the platform in your browser and clicking:
Not secure β Certificate details
This shows the website security certificate (TLS) for the platform domain. For SSO, your IdP certificate view after importing the SAML metadata is the source of truth.
