How to resend a platform invitation to a user

When you invite a user to your platform, they will receive an e-mail with an invitation. The e-mail contains a button to register their account. However, after a set period of time (e.g. 30 days) this invitation automatically expires. This means that the user can't use the registration button anymore.

Often users try to reset their password to get access. However, the 'reset password' link doesn't work because they're not an active user yet.

Luckily, you can easily re-invite them by completing the following steps:

  1. Go to "Users" -> "Invitations"

  2. Use the search bar to find the user you want to re-invite

  3. Select the arrow under "Actions" on the right side and select "Send reminder"

Done! The user will receive a new invitation via e-mail!

Tip. You can see the "Invite expiry period" of your platform via the settings in TinQwise Control.
