You can add videos to activities in Studio using uploads or video URLs. Activities that support video content include: direct video, task, text media, MPC video, social challenge, and the social challenge with feedback.

πŸ”§ How to upload a video

  1. Go to Control > Activities, then create or open an existing activity which supports the use of videos (like direct video)

  2. In the video field, click to open upload options

  3. If it is a video file, select "Video" then select to Upload video or Select from library

  4. Wait for the upload to finish (uploads up to 2GB are supported)

Tip πŸ’‘

Uploads should be completed within 5 minutes. Use a stable internet connection for best results.

πŸ“‚ Video file requirements

To make sure your video plays smoothly, follow these recommendations:

πŸ”— How to use a video URL

  1. In your activity, choose Video URL in the upload menu

  2. Paste a direct link from a supported video platform

  3. Make sure the video is public or shareable via link

Supported platforms:

YouTube

Example:

If the video is unplayable, please ask the video owner to check the video's privacy settings on YouTube. Make sure the video is set to 'public' or 'unlisted'.

Tip 🌟

If you don't want YouTube to automatically play the next video you can add the following text to the and of the url: ?autoplay=0&rel=0

Vimeo

Example:

If the video is unplayable, please ask the video owner to check the video's privacy settings on Vimeo.

Facebook

If the video is unplayable, please ask the video owner to change the post's audience settings in which the video was shared.

Twitch

Streamable

Wistia

DailyMotion

SoundCloud

Mixcloud

Important πŸ‘€

You can add videos in locations that specifically mention 'video upload' or 'video url'. Please refrain from embedding videos in the rich text editor, since these videos will behave in an unexpected way (i.e. not scale nicely on different screen sizes).
