If you want to implement certificates in a platform, the feature needs to be enabled first. At this point, only TinQwise members are able to do so. If it's enabled, you'll find a certificate tab in your profile on the platform.
Certificates are created in the in the content builder. You can either design one from scratch, or use one of the learning platform templates. If you want to use one the platform templates, reach out to the TinQwise team to upload them in your content builder.
How to create a Certificate:
Go to Content Builder, create a child page with the Certificate format, and fill in the fields.
Fields in the Content Builder
Content ID* = A unique identifier for the activity. Only shown in the Content Builder.
Checkbox: Portrait = The certificate is automatically shown in a landscape format ( 2900 x 2050 pixels). By checking this box the certificate will be shown in a portrait format ( 2050 x 2900 pixels).
Blocks
Here you can customize your certificate by choosing the fields you want to use:
Dynamic text: It is used as placeholder for user information like name, achieved date, expiry date & activity title. When a user is granted a certificate, the right information will be filled in automatically.
Static text: It is used to add text that will stay the same for all the users (e.g., Certificate of achievement)
Dynamic image: It is used as placeholder for the image of the user. When a user is granted a certificate, the image he/she/they used on the platform will be filled in automatically.
Static image: It is used to add images that will stay the same for all the users (e.g., signatures or logos)
Very important: Make sure that the boxes of the text are big enough⚡. You can adjust the boxes in the template.
For dynamic text, make the boxes (much) bigger than the placeholder. Why? If somebody is called Hubert Blaine Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenbergerdorff Sr., you want his name to fit in as well😉.
Is your certificate all done? Save it and push it to the platform.
