Content guideline for the Quiz Ordering Template

The quiz ordering template consists of an intro page, any number questions where the user has to place items in the correct order, and a result page with feedback.

Setting it up

Below fields are present within this template. They can be found in the content builder. Fields with an * are required.

Content ID*

Name of this template, only shown in the content builder.

Intro

  • Background image*: Upload a background image for the intro page. Image uploader for JPG, PNG, GIF.

  • Hide the image overlay (checkbox): The image has a dark overlay to increase readability of the text. Disabling this checkbox will disable the overlay. Please note that disabling this might reduce readability.

  • Heading (text only)*: The heading of the quiz.

  • Text (rich text)*: A body text that supports bulleted or numbered lists, hyperlinks, bold and italic texts.

  • Button (text only)*: A text that is shown on the button that starts the quiz.

Threshold percentage*

A numeric value between 0 and 100 that indicates the passing percentage of the quiz.

Send SCORM score (checkbox)

If this box is checked, user results will be exported as SCORM to the LMS. This option should be enabled for only one quiz per exported activity.

Questions

Here you can add multiple questions for the quiz. Per question you need to add:

  • Question (text only)*: Title of the question, used for analytic purposes and shown to the user.

Items

Create a list of items that the learner needs to place in the correct order. In the content builder, you can place them in the correct order. They will be automatically randomised for the learner.

  • Item text (text only): The text that is shown on the ordering item.

Feedback

Each question requires correct and incorrect feedback texts that are shown on the result page of the quiz.

  • Feedback title (text only)*: A heading for the correct/incorrect feedback.

  • Feedback text (rich text)*: A text for the correct/incorrect feedback that supports bulleted and numbered lists, hyperlinks, bold and italic texts.

Outro

The outro or result page shows the overall score of the user with accommodating passed/failed text, the given answers per question, and the feedback per question.

  • Background image*: Upload a background image for the result page. Image uploader for JPG, PNG, GIF. This can be a different image than the quiz intro image.

  • Hide the image overlay (checkbox): The image has a dark overlay to increase readability of the text. Disabling this checkbox will disable the overlay. Please note that disabling this might reduce readability.

  • Heading (text only)*: A heading for the result page. To be filled in for both 'Passed' and 'Failed' user results.

  • Text (rich text)*: A text for the result page that supports bulleted and numbered lists, hyperlinks, bold and italic texts. To be filled in for both 'Passed' and 'Failed' user results.
