Multiple Choice Text - Right/Wrong Feedback Template

Content guideline for the MPC test - right/wrong feedback Template

Written by Marie Xhauflair

This MPC template allows learners to choose one or more answer options as an answer to a question. By default, this content will be treated as single-select, unless you tick the box ‘multi-select’.

Setting it up

Image

Upload an optional image (JPG, PNG or GIF) to display at the top of the template. Add an alt text to describe the image for accessibility purposes.

Heading and description

Add a heading and an optional description to introduce the question.

MPC question

  • Question* — the question shown to the learner.

  • Show instructions — shows an extra line of instructions below the question (e.g. "Select the correct answer").

  • Allow multiselect — lets learners select more than one answer. By default, only one answer can be selected.

  • Display social answers — after answering, learners can see how often each answer was picked by other learners, shown as percentages.

Answer options

Add two or more answer options. For each option:

  • Option* — the answer text shown to the learner.

  • Is correct — mark this if the option is a correct answer.

Feedback

Set up separate feedback for correct and incorrect answers. Each feedback block needs:

  • Title — a short title for the feedback.

  • Text* — the feedback body. Supports bold, italic, bulleted and numbered lists, and hyperlinks.

Why this template?

Learners get immediate, specific feedback based on whether they answered correctly or not, rather than neutral feedback.

This makes it well suited for knowledge checks where there is a clear right or wrong answer, helping learners understand what they got right and where they need to improve.
