The Swipe series template lets you create interactive quizzes inside a Learning bite. Learners swipe left or right to answer each card. You decide how many answers can be wrong. After the final card, the learner sees a result screen with feedback and a breakdown of their answers.

📍 Where to find it

To create a Swipe series activity:

  1. Go to Content > Activities

  2. Click New activity

  3. Select Learning bite

  4. Click New template and choose Swipe series

🧱 What’s included

A Swipe series activity includes:

  • An intro screen with optional background image

  • A deck of swipeable cards (e.g., True/False or custom labels)

  • A result screen with pass/fail feedback and per-card answers

🛠 How to set it up

Intro screen

  • Heading: Title shown before learners start

  • Text: Instruction or intro message

  • Background image: JPG, PNG, or GIF

  • Hide the image overlay: Removes the dark filter over the image

    • Disabling the overlay may reduce text readability

Swipe cards

Each card presents a statement that the learner must evaluate.

  • Title: The card’s main statement (max 80 characters)

  • Card image (optional): Add an image per card if Card images is enabled

  • Correct dock: Choose the correct swipe direction (left or right)

⚙️ Swipe options tip!

  • You can add custom swipe left/right label: (e.g., Yes / No, Myth / Fact)

📊 Results settings

  • Max attempts: The number of incorrect answers allowed before the learner fails

🔥 Important:

This controls how many cards the learner can get wrong before the quiz is marked as “Failed.” It does not limit how many times they can try the quiz.
