The Swipe Series template consists of an intro page, a deck of cards that need to be swiped, and a result page with feedback. The deck of cards has to be swiped either to the left (answer option 1) or to the right (answer option 2).
The learner is only allowed to answer a certain amount of cards wrong. If they stay below this threshold, the swipe series is reported as ‘passed’ and they receive feedback accordingly. For the result page you can add feedback for every card, which is optional.
Setting it up
Below fields are present within this template. They can be found in the content builder. Fields with an * are required.
Content ID*
Name of this template, only shown in the content builder.
Heading (text only)*
The page heading that will be shown in the frontend.
Text (rich text)* =
A body text that supports bulleted or numbered lists, hyperlinks, bold and italic texts.
Background image
Upload a background image for the intro and result page. Image uploader for JPG, PNG, GIF.
Hide the image overlay (checkbox)
The image has a dark overlay to increase readability of the text. Disabling this checkbox will disable the overlay. Please note that disabling this might reduce readability.
Swipe Series
Question (text only)*: The question text that will be shown to the user. It will also be used for analytic/reporting purposes.
Options: Here you can add two answer options that represent swiping left (option 1) or right (option 2). These two options will be the same throughout the entire card deck. Each option is described with a title.
Option (text only): A title for the answer option, used for analytic purposes and shown to the user. Max. 15 characters.
Enable image upload (checkbox): Allows you to show an image above the text on each card. An image upload field will appear on each item.
Cards
Here, you can add cards to the card deck. For each card, the following fields are available:
Title (text only)*: A Text that shows on the card (max. 80 characters).
Image (only if the ‘Enable image upload’ checkbox is ticked): Image uploader for JPG, PNG, GIF.
Feedback correct/incorrect title = Add a feedback title that is shown on the result page.
Feedback correct/incorrect text = Add a feedback text that is shown on the result page.
Correct answer*: Choose which of the above two options is the correct answer. Specify at least one correct answer.
Results
Wrong answers allowed (number only): The amount of cards the user is allowed to answer wrong before ‘failing’ the swipe series.
Heading (text only)*: A heading for the result page. To be filled in for both 'Passed' and 'Failed' user results.
Text (rich text)*: A text for the result page that supports bulleted and numbered lists, hyperlinks, bold and italic texts. To be filled in for both 'Passed' and 'Failed' user results.
