Content guideline for the Task Format

A one-screen explanation about a task or activity. This format consist of written steps and/or a video or image and can be used as performance support. This activity format has no underlying templates.

Fields

Below fields can be filled into the Content Builder.

Content ID*

A unique identifier for the activity. Only shown in the content builder.

Title (text only)*

This is the activity title shown within the activity, as well as on the activity tile and spotlighted activity (if applicable).

Image*

Image uploader for JPG, PNG, GIF. Shown on the activity tile and spotlighted activity (if applicable).

Duration (number)

Estimated duration of this task in minutes. Shown on the activity tile.

Media*

Here you can upload media (maximum of one image or one video) that is shown on the start page.

Choose between:

  • Image = Image uploader for JPG, PNG, GIF. Shown in the top of the activity.

  • Image alt = Image description for accessibility purposes (e.g. blind users with a screen reader).

  • Checkbox: Hide the image overlay = The image has a dark overlay to increase visibility of the close button. Disabling this checkbox will disable the overlay.

  • Video upload + poster = Video uploader for MP4 with H.264 codec + image uploader for a video thumbnail.

  • Video URL = Insert a video URL from an external website (e.g. from Vimeo, YouTube). These videos cannot be styled since they will adopt the styling of the video player of the website they are coming from.

Text (rich text)

A description of the task that supports bulleted or numbered lists, hyperlinks, bold and italic texts.

Checkbox done = The checkbox at the bottom of this activity allows the user to tick off the task. It should contain:v

  • Title (text only)* = The title used for analytics, which is a short title for the task.

  • Option title (text only)* = The text that is shown next to the checkbox.
