Our product development and release cycle

We work in 2-week sprints with agile methodologies.

Previously, we named our sprints using a coded format like S21.13, where:

  • S = Sprint

  • 21 = the year 2021

  • 13 = the week number

So, S21.13 referred to a sprint covering weeks 13 and 14 of 2021. Releases would typically go out on the Wednesday of the following week (in this case, week 15).

Now, we name each release by the date it's released, which is always a Wednesday. For example:

  • June 25, 2025

  • July 9, 2025

  • July 23, 2025

This makes it clearer when the release went live and removes the need to decode sprint numbers.

We send out release notes every second Wednesday internally and soon through Intercom.
