If you want to get more reporting into the results of the examination format, take a look at this article.

What Reporting Insights Can You Access?

With exam reporting, you can track:

  • Number of attempts: See how many times a learner has tried the exam.

  • Performance details: View whether learners passed or failed, along with their scores as percentages.

  • Timeline of attempts: Discover when learners made their attempts.

You can also see general statistics about learner progress:

  • Total number of learners with access to the exam.

  • Number of learners who have passed the exam.

    • If a learner exhausts all attempts without passing, their status will be shown as failed. This ensures you can easily identify who might need extra help.

  • Learners who failed the exam.

  • Learners who started but haven’t finished.

  • Learners with access but no progress yet.

How to Access Reporting Data

Step 1: In Control, go to Content > Activities.
Step 2: Search for the exam activity you’re interested in.
Step 3: Click on the activity and navigate to the 'Reporting' tab.

Using the Reporting Tab

The 'Reporting' tab offers detailed insights into learner activity:

  • General stats about learners' progress and access.

  • A searchable list of users with details about their performance.

You can filter results to focus on specific groups:

  • Learners with access.

  • Completed learners.

  • Those still in progress or with no progress.

Why This Matters

Exam reporting helps managers and team leads spot patterns, track learner outcomes, and provide targeted support to those who might be struggling.
