The Magic Wall is a dynamic widget that rotates through short, text-based messages like tips, reminders, or motivational quotes on a full-screen background image.
Each time a learner visits the stream, they see a new message. This keeps the experience fresh, engaging, and relevant.
What the Magic Wall does
The Magic Wall shows short, impactful content on a visually rich background. You can share reminders, learning tips, or inspiration in a format that feels light and engaging.
Why use it?
Use the Magic Wall to:
Share soft skills advice or team-building ideas
Promote learning culture with bite-sized tips
Highlight internal comms, reminders, or motivational messages
How to set up a Magic Wall
Go to Control > Behaviour > Stream
Click the + icon and select Magic Wall
Enter an internal name (for admin use only)
Choose a background image that fits your message (see below for more details)
Add one or more headlines or messages
Use Move Up or Move Down to reorder
Click Remove to delete a message
Format text using bold, italic, or add hyperlinks
Click Save changes to apply your updates
🔥 Important:
To make the Magic Wall visible in the learner view, you need to connect it to an automation.
This lets you target specific user groups like roles or locations
Each group can see messages that feel timely and relevant
Choosing the right background image
Magic Wall messages appear over a full-screen background, so choosing the right image is key:
Use an image size of 1920×1080px (16:9)
Keep the focal point in the center
Images are displayed in portrait format on mobile, so avoid placing key visuals near the edges
This ensures your image looks sharp and your message remains readable across devices.
