Each user has a profile tab with personal information. In the profile page in learning platform you'll find 3 tabs: Avatar (optional), Account, Certificates (optional) and Settings.
Avatar (optional)
Here the users can choose an avatar that will evolve together with them. For more details abou this feature click here.
Account
If the 'Social profiles' feature is enabled, a user can adjust their account:
set a profile image - this photo is being displayed
In the user profile
When answers to open questions are being displayed
Timeline posts
Manager Reporting
For hosts inside a session
add a subtitle
add an 'About me' description
set their email to private or public
add a link (e.g. LinkedIn profile)
Hovering over a users' profile image shows their profile information when the 'Social profiles' feature is enabled.
How to enable the Social profiles feature?
Head to TinQwise Control > Settings > Features and activate "Social profiles" in the feature list. Once you click on it, you will see a checkbox to activate the feature. Enable it and save the changes.
💡 Tip. When enabling the "Social profiles" feature as an admin, you can set the emails to private or public by default. When email is set to private, the user contact info will not show on their profile. Notify your learners that they can now be contacted by other learners if you set the emails to public by default. They can change this setting themselves anytime.
Certificates (optional)
If the 'Certificates' feature is enabled, under Certificates a user can find all certificates they have achieved in the past.
Settings
Under Settings a user can:
set a different language
change their password
set a preference for platform update emails
