Through Automations you can add a activity to a learner's to do list. This activity can be made mandatory and given a due date. Check the Automations article for more info on how to set up an automation and its events and conditions.
Below is an example of how to set up a simple automation for adding to dos.
Setting up an automation with an Add to do action
Go to Behaviour > Automations in TinQwise Control
Create a new Automation
Give the Automation a name and choose Check periodically
Add the conditions that a user needs to meet in order to get this to do on their list (e.g. user needs to be in specific groups, or 30 days after their contract start date).
In Actions select the action Add to to-do list
Choose Recipients: usually user
Choose User source: event > user (any user who meets the conditions) or self (select a specific user).
Choose to attach the to do item to a activity or activity container (= journey or section). In this example we pick activity.
Leave the Activity source at self.
Select the activity you want to put on the list.
❗Please note: The activity that you add first, will be on the BOTTOM of the to do list. The activities that you add after that, will be placed above the previous activitie that you added. ❗
If you want to make this activity mandatory, check the box for Is mandatory.
Optionally add a due date.
Save the action and automation
When an activity is added to the to-do list, the only way to remove it is by a developer. So, when the activities are completed, they will be placed on the Done list instead of disappearing.
