Switching on AI features in TinQwise starts with signing an AI addendum. Not sure what that means or what you are agreeing to? This article answers the most common questions in plain language.
Does TinQwise use your data to teach the AI new things?
No. Your data is never used to train or improve any AI model.
The AI only looks at the learning content you have on the TinQwise platform, like courses, assets, and programmes, to answer questions asked by learners. That is it.
Nothing gets used behind the scenes to make the AI smarter for others.
Should our employees enter personal information into the AI?
No. Please ask your learners not to type personal details into the AI. Think of things like names, email addresses, or any sensitive information.
The AI is there to help people with questions for work, not to process personal data. Keeping it that way protects your employees and your organisation.
🚧 Be careful
As an organisation, you are responsible for how your learners use the AI features. A short heads-up to your team goes a long way.
Where does our data go? Does it leave Europe?
Your data stays in Europe. TinQwise processes all AI data through European servers. It does not get sent to the United States or anywhere outside Europe.
If your organisation has strict rules about where data can be stored or processed, talk to your Customer Success Manager before switching on any AI features.
Is TinQwise ISO 27001 certified?
TinQwise itself is not ISO 27001 certified. But OpenAI, the technology that powers our AI features, is.
ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised standard that shows a company takes data security seriously. So while TinQwise does not hold the certificate directly, the service handling your data does.
👀 Good to know
If your procurement or legal team needs proof of this certification, you can find OpenAI's documentation on their trust portal.
Can our employees turn off the AI themselves?
No, individual learners cannot turn AI features on or off themselves.
As an admin, you decide which AI features are available on your platform. If you have not signed the AI addendum yet, no AI features will be visible to anyone.
✏️ Tip
Assistants are a great way to make NOW, the AI learning assistant feel relevant to specific group of users. This way, answers to a learner in a specific role or region will be more specific and make more sense.
Can we choose which content the AI uses to answer questions?
Not directly. The AI looks at all the learning content on your platform when forming an answer.
What if the AI gives a wrong answer? Who is responsible?
Your organisation is responsible for how learners use the AI features.
The good news is that the AI only pulls from real content on your platform. It does not make things up. If an answer seems off, it usually means the source content needs updating.
Every response also shows its source in NOW Insights, so learners can always check where an answer came from.
👀 Good to know
Keeping your learning content accurate and up to date is the best way to make sure the AI gives reliable answers.
Do we have to sign the AI addendum?
Yes. The AI addendum must be signed before any AI features can be switched on. There are no exceptions.
If you are ready to sign or have questions, reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
All AI features, including NOW, Product Trainer, and Studio Agent, remain switched off until the signed addendum is in place.
Still have questions? Your Customer Success Manager is the best person to help, or you can reach out to our support team directly.
