If another learning system requires SCORM files, you can still use TinQwise’s interactive content by exporting activities from TinQwise Studio and uploading them there!
This article explains which activities you can export, how to create an export, and what to do after you edit an activity
Before you start
SCORM exports is a feature that TinQwise has to activate for your platform
Once it’s activated, admins can see the Exports tab in activities that support it
🚧 Be careful
If you don’t see the Exports tab on any activity, SCORM exports may not be activated on your platform yet. Get in touch with your Customer Success contact and they’ll look into it!
Which activities can you export?
It’s simple: the Exports tab is either there, or it isn’t
If the Exports tab is there, you can export the activity as SCORM
If the Exports tab isn’t there, this activity can’t be exported
You’ll find the tab at the top of the activity, next to Studio, Settings, Questions, Automations and Reporting

Only admins can see the Exports tab, and only when SCORM exports is activated on your platform
How to export a SCORM file
Go to Content > Activities > [Activity name]
Click the Exports tab, then click Create export
In the pop-up, select the Language
Select the SCORM Version (choose between SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 4th Edition)
Optional: select a Theme
Click Create to start the export
✏️ Tip
Check which SCORM version the other learning system supports before you export, so your package uploads without problems
Where to find and download your export
After you click Create, your export shows up in the Progress exports list on the Exports tab
The list shows the status, the date you requested it, the language, the SCORM version and the theme
Your export starts with the status In progress, give it a moment
Click the refresh button next to Create export
When your export is ready, the status turns into a Download button
Click Download to save your SCORM package
🚧 Be careful
Exports are removed after 2 days, so download your file before then
Re-exporting after edits
Every time you edit an activity, you’ll need to:
Re-export the SCORM file
Re-upload it to the other learning system
This makes sure your learners always see the latest version!
