Content distribution feature

Share content from one platform to another without rebuilding it.

Written by Marie Xhauflair

Use content distribution to connect the Control environments of multiple platforms so you can copy a chosen revision of an activity to other platforms.

Content distribution is a feature that TinQwise switches on for your platform. It is configured per platform with the list of allowed target platforms. Contact your TinQwise Customer Success Manager (or support) if you want to use it.

What is content distribution

  • Connects Control across platforms you manage

  • Lets you share content created on one platform with the others

  • You choose which revision of an activity to copy to a target platform

Requirements

  • The feature must be enabled by a TinQwise employee (superadmin).

  • A superadmin must assign which platforms each admin can distribute to.

How to distribute content

  1. Open the activity you want to share in Studio (the activity editor) on the source platform.

  2. Click the clock icon (Version history) to open the Revisions panel.

  3. Find the specific revision you want to copy and open its dot menu.

  4. Choose Push to platform.

  5. In the Push content window, select one or more Platforms from your allowed list.

  6. Click Push to platform. A success message confirms the action.

💡 Tip:

Name your revisions clearly before distributing so teammates can recognise what is being copied.

What gets copied

  • The selected revision of the activity is copied to the target platform.

  • The copy appears as an activity on the target that can be managed there.

✏️ Note:

Distribution copies a chosen revision. It does not automatically update targets when a new revision is created later. Repeat the distribution when you want to roll out a newer revision.
