How to add NOW menu item to your LXP

Make TinQwise NOW easily accessible to learners by adding it to the platform menu.

As an admin, you can add custom menu items to the learner-facing platform, helping learners access key areas, such as NOW, in fewer clicks to increase accessibility. This guide shows you how to enable and set up the NOW menu item.


πŸ›  How to add NOW as a menu item

  1. Go to Control > Settings > Features

  2. Under the section Customisation & personalisation, find "Add menu item" and click on the settings wheel (βš™οΈ)

  3. A side panel will open:

    1. Make sure the toggle is enabled

    2. Click on "add"

  4. Fill in the following fields:

    • URL: https://your+platform+name.platform.co.nl/#/NOW

    • Label: NOW

    • Icon name: NOW

  5. (Optional) Tick open_in_same_window if you want the link to stay in the same tab

  6. Click Save

Once saved, learners will see NOW listed under the More menu at the top of their screen in the LXP.

  • Ensure the Add menu item setting is enabled

  • Check that the URL, label, and icon are correctly filled

  • Switch to a learner view and click More to confirm the NOW menu item is visible
