The Terminology editor lets you adjust the text learners see throughout your platform, like button labels, notifications, and error messages. This gives you full control over how your platform communicates, across multiple languages.

How to edit platform text

  1. Go to Settings > Terminology

  2. Select a language at the top right (e.g. EN for English)

  3. Click on a segment from the left menu to view related terminology

  4. Use the Search translation bar to quickly find a specific word or phrase

  5. Click on a row in the list to edit the translation

  6. Enter your custom text, then click Save or Save and continue

πŸ’‘ Tip:

Use the Show untranslated button to quickly locate missing translations.

Edit terminology in different languages

To make changes in multiple languages:

  • Use the language selector at the top of the page to switch between languages

  • Repeat your edits in each language version to keep things consistent

  • Saved changes apply immediately for learners using that language

πŸ”₯ Important:

Terminology is language-specific. Be sure to choose the correct language before making changes.
